ABOUT THE ORGANISERS

SING LIT STATION

Sing Lit Station, Singapore’s leading literary arts charity, is the co-organiser of BAGFest.

With a vision to be a platform where readers and writers can meet, we support the local literary ecosystem by nurturing writers, inviting readers to explore Singapore’s literary culture, and working with partners to build vibrant and inclusive communities. We run wide reaching and innovative programmes like Poems on the MRT, Book A Writer and Sing Lit Body Slam.

BAGFest reflects our mission by spotlighting local creators and showing how reading and playing can spark a more imaginative, culturally confident Singapore.

ORIGAME

Origame is the co-organiser of BAGFest as well as the organiser of the Asian Board Games Festival, but we are first and foremost a board game design studio.

Origame creates games that tell stories about Singaporean and Asian culture. Origame games reach a wide audience both locally (Kopi King, Chope!) and worldwide (Wok and Roll, Plantopia, Buffet Boss).

BAGFest is part of Origame’s mission to introduce the Singapore community to more Modern Asian Board Games as well as to bring Singaporean makers together to grow the creative industry.
