Clear writing is deliberate writing. This practical three-session course, facilitated by veteran journalist and trainer Bertha Henson, equips professionals and communicators with the tools to write with greater clarity, precision and purpose.
Through critical reading exercises, hands-on workshops and real-world case studies, participants work through the essentials of effective communication: understanding audience and purpose, applying the diamond approach of cut, clarity and colour, writing numbers clearly in text, and examining how public communications succeed or fail under pressure.
Tailored to the demands of professional writing across mediums, the course builds both skill and confidence in participants who need to communicate clearly and deliberately in their work.
