In a world full of noise, is there still a space for the quiet?
Join us on Sat 18 Jul for ๐๐ค๐๐ฉ๐ง๐ฎ: ๐๐๐ ๐๐ช๐๐๐ฉ ๐ฝ๐๐ฉ๐ฌ๐๐๐ฃ ๐ฉ๐๐ ๐๐ค๐ง๐๐จ, an evening of open conversation and readings with three poets whose work shows how being quiet can hold a deep, subversive power.
Ann Ang, Laura Jane Lee, and Zhang Ruihe will be sitting down with you for a conversation about poetry and its place in our lives. Bring all of your questions! What is a poem? What makes a good one? How is poetry possible in a place like Singapore, and can it still make a difference in our day and age?
Whether poetry has been part of your life for years or youโve never opened a collection, thereโs a seat here for you. We especially welcome those new to poetry.
Spots are limited.
What silences are you carrying today? Come sit with them, and us. ๐ค
