Twin cinema is a poetic form originating in Singapore where the poem is displayed in two columns — each column may be read vertically by itself, or the whole poem horizontally across both columns. The term was coined by poet and SWF Director Yeow Kai Chai after the 2005 album of the same name by Canadian indie rock band The New Pornographers.
