Singapore Writing Poetry Month (SingPoWriMo) is a rapidly-growing Facebook group that gathers the most creative, barrier breaking, and exciting poets to vanquish 30 boundary pushing prompts by a team of multi-hyphenate talented moderators that includes published poets like Jennifer Anne Champion, Ng Yi-Sheng, Tse Hao Guang, Ang Shuang and Stephanie Dogfoot Chan. We have also shifted from our annual print anthologies to an online magazine.
Check out, and even join the Facebook group as all creative hell breaks loose as it does every April! Some poems you may like, some you may not. There is no prize and there is no winner, and nothing is set in stone. Follow along with the daily prompts and push your poetry to unseen heights. Write how you like and when you like. Drop encouraging comments, or critical ones on works that need help. Get addicted. Defeat a creative block. Take the weekend off. Come back for more.
