Vehicle Access

Little India can be extremely crowded, especially on weekends! Do factor in extra time if coming to SLS by car, due to jam + parking. The nearest parking to SLS is roadside, but it is very difficult to get parking on Dickson Road at peak hours. If you don’t get it, turn right into Jalan Besar and take the first right into Dunlop St, which has denser parking availability but can also get jammed.

There is an open-air public carpark before SLS on Dickson Road, to the left, between Upper Weld and Perak St. If there are any visible lots there, I’d recommend to go in rather than try your luck on Dickson Road outside SLS.

The nearest mall carpark is Sim Lim Tower (4 min walk). I recommend going straight there if it’s a Sunday. It’s $1.90/30 min for all days, including weekends/PHs. You could also do Sim Lim Square (5 min walk, ~$1.80/30 mins) or Burlington Square (7 min walk, $2.40/h or $2.20 entry after 5pm).

Public Transport

The nearest MRTs are Jalan Besar (2 min walk) and Rochor (3 min walk), both on (different legs in the loop of) the Downtown Line. Plenty of buses serve either MRT station. If you’re Grabbing/cabbing, remember to factor in jam time.

Finding Us

We are on the left of Dickson Road (if you’re following the one-way traffic), directly opposite “A Hotel”. Our entrance is immediately on the left of the big black “KOMBAN BRIYANI” sign. You can find our sign + logo on the 2nd floor wall, but it’s delightfully obscured by our neighbors’ signs. Look for a black grilled gate with a bright red door.
