In this workshop, Fabrice Desmarescaux invites writers, poets, and lovers of literature into the quiet power of solitude. Drawing from his book The Art of Retreats, he explores how short contemplative retreats can awaken the creative soul—clearing inner noise, deepening attention, and making space for language to emerge. Beyond reflection, the talk offers practical guidance on how to design a personal retreat and gently enter a contemplative mood, so that inspiration is not chased, but allowed to unfold.
