How do you check in with yourself when the world feels like it's on fire?
Hug yourself and the ones you love a little tighter at the book launch of How Are You Feeling? A Comics Anthology, a trilogy of comics about periods, mental health, and pregnancy loss, that opens up dialogue about relatable issues that remain difficult to talk about. Learn more about each story from the anthology’s creators in person.
Then, take a break from doomscrolling with a junk journalling activity led by mental health collective LONGKANGBRAIN. The junk in our lives – receipts, recycled packaging, leftover fabric, old ticket stubs – are typically discarded as trash that holds no value. But what if we saw them as containers of our thoughts, memories, and how we're feeling?
No experience is needed for this activity, and feel free to bring your own "junk" to journal with! If you don't have any on hand, don't fret – we scavengers at DE have got you covered.
