ABOUT THE WORKSHOP:
A creative and expressive workshop that blends the art of macramé with the beauty of poetry. Participants will create macramé keychains using colourful thread and then collaborate in teams to write a poem. Each knot they tie and each word they write will become a symbol of connection. All materials will be provided, and participants will be able to bring their keychains home.

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR:
Syarifitriyah is a migrant domestic worker based in Singapore and is a very active volunteer in various organisations. For Syarifitriyah, crafting macramé isn’t just a hobby, but a form of therapy. Each knot she ties becomes a calming rhythm, helping her process emotions and find inner peace amid a busy life. Using vibrant cords, she lovingly creates keychains. In those quiet, creative moments, Syarifitriyah reconnects with herself, weaving not only beautiful patterns but also strength, resilience, and a story of healing
