How do we listen to the sounds of place and memory?
"Migrant Labour / Migrant Leisure" samples the sonic textures of spaces where migrant workers gather, rest and labour. This evening invites close listening and quiet encounter in an intimate space where language, history, and memory echo.
Artist-researcher Sumugan Sivanesan and poet Wahid Al Mamun (๐๐๐๐ฉ ๐๐ค๐ ๐๐ค๐ค๐ ๐๐ค๐ช๐ง ๐๐๐๐จ ๐ผ๐ฌ๐๐ฎ) will be in conversation, tracing resonances between their work, across the sonic and structural, the personal and political.
