The 46th edition of Spoke & Bird is an online show featuring the incredible performance poet Caroline Teague from the UK and Singapore's own rising poetry star Ally Chua. The show is free but the organisers would like to encourage people to pay what they want to support them here: https://ko-fi.com/spokeandbird

Caroline Teague is a London born and bred poet writing pieces on grief, identity and how they come to terms with some harrowing realities of being human and being alive, in a style they call ‘tragic optimism’ hoping that the honesty through their writing can translate into something positive and comforting for someone else.

Ally Chua is a Singaporean poet. She works in public relations, and writes when she’s not replying to emails within seven working days. She is the 2019 Singapore Unbound Fellow for New York City, and a member of Singapore writing collective /s@ber.

Again, they have 9 open mic spots up for grabs. For more info / details, click on the event link provided below.
