For the festive holiday special at @booksbualbual, Elaine Chew will be in conversation with Daryl Qilin Yam over Instagram Live to chat about Lovelier, Lonelier, which was a finalist for the 2021 Epigram Books Fiction Prize.

Daryl Qilin Yam is the author of Kappa Quartet and Shantih Shantih Shantih (a novella). He is an arts organiser and co-founded the literary nonprofit Sing Lit Station. He holds a B.A in English LIterature and Creative Writing from the University of Warwick; he won second prize from the Department of English and Comparative Literary Studies and spent a year studying under the AIKOM programme at the Unviersity of Tokyo. His prose and poetry have appeared in a number of anthologies and literary journals, including the Best New Singaporean Short Stories.
