Race is often a dicey topic to write about in Singapore, yet it under girds much of our socio-political decisions.

How do writers construct their perspective of ethnicity and race relations in their writing? How does ethnicity/ race function in narratives? How much is ethnicity a look back memory and how much of it is a fabrication and imagination?
