The School of Humanities and Behavioural Sciences (SHBS) at the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) is excited to welcome you to It's #Lit: Millennials Writing in Singapore, this year's edition of the biennial Language in Singapore forums.

As Singapore's first university to offer degree programmes in the four official languages and in translation and interpretation, SUSS is proud to host the Language in Singapore forums, which explore emerging trends and key developments in the language and literature of the country.

This year’s forum is all about #lit. Literature that asks questions, reimagines identity, and deconstructs myths. Literature that makes use of new methods of writing, translating, and publishing, and exploits new revenue models.

Come join us as five young writers and publishers across the four language communities share what it means and what it takes to be #lit in Singapore today. Registration starts at 1 pm. There will be light refreshments and pop-up bookstalls! All attendees stand to win limited edition book sets by Ethos Books.
