LASALLE's MA Creative Writing programme is proud to host Cultural Medallion recipient Haresh Sharma for a staged reading, with students from our BA(Hons) Acting programme performing scenes in tandem. A lively Q&A session, where audiences can pick the acclaimed playwright's brain, will commence after.

Haresh Sharma is a prolific author and playwright, with more than 100 plays (which have been staged in over 20 cities) and ten books to his name. His works have been translated into Malay, Chinese, Greek and Italian, and he has been the Resident Playwright at Singapore’s The Necessary Stage since 1990. Haresh is the first non-American to win the prestigious Goldberg Master Playwright by New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. In 2014, he won the Southeast Asian Writers Award.

Free admission, open to public.
