BooksActually presents the second installment of Read to Teleport at a pop-up in Great World City.
First launched at the 2017 Singapore Writers Festival, this pop-up is built out of our love for science fiction film and literature (non-fiction books included!).
Ever stepped into BooksActually at 9 Yong Siak Street? You'd recognise the pine-coloured wooden crates, cluttered with too many books. Similarly, Read To Teleport is an all-encompassing literary space with organised chaos — an essential characteristic of the Tiong Bahru shop.
From 4pm to 8pm, get to enjoy cupcakes and drinks on the house. Young writers will be in store, churning out poetry & prose pieces on demand (according to the teleportation-related prompts you manage to draw from our lucky dip box).
It's free for all — so mark the date and head down to Great World City on 20 January, Saturday!
