The second edition of Spoke & Bird takes place this September at Molly's Craic Den on the 3rd floor of Malone's Irish Pub in Circular Road.
An open mic with 10 spots, 5 minutes each, Spoke & Bird is proud to feature Jocelyn Suarez as its main act. Originally a prose writer, she started in the spoken word stage through open mic platforms like Destination: INK. Her works have appeared in SingPoWriMo anthologies, Eunioa review, and other online publications. She often writes about loss, anxiety, and the complexities of human relationships. These days, she has returned to her prose roots and is currently working on a novel and a project involving music and poetry.
