READING: New Voices from Manuscript Bootcamp 2017 (Poetry)

  • Sing Lit Station 3A Jalan Kubor Singapore, 199201 Singapore (map)

After an intense selection process involving 50 unsolicited manuscripts, a shortlist of 12, and a final 6 individuals deemed worthiest of the programme by an external panel of judges, Sing Lit Station is proud to present a showcase of new poems written by our Bootcampers: Abdul Hamid, Ang Shuang, Jerome Lim, Min Lim and Teo Xiao Ting.

Moderated by Manuscript Bootcamp organiser Tse Hao Guang, the reading will be followed by a Q&A session that will include discussions on the meaning of being a poet in this day and age, the difficulty of putting a book together, and our Bootcampers' own plans for the future.

This event follows a workshop on travel writing by Shivaji Das, held at Sing Lit Station at 3.30pm. For more details, click: For more details on our Manuscript Bootcamp, click here.
