Yale-NUS Writers' Centre Reading Series: Jen Percy and Jason Wee

Jen Percy and Jason Wee will be reading excerpts from their recent works, in the latest iteration of the Yale-NUS Writers' Centre reading series. The reading will be followed by a reception in the Writers' Centre.

Jen Percy is a National Magazine Award Winning journalist and a contributing writer at the New York Times Magazine. She is the author of the nonfiction book Demon Camp which was a New York Times Notable Book and a Barnes & Noble Discover Great New Writers pick. She has been awarded grants and fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts Foundation, the Macdowell Colony, Bread Loaf Writers' Conference, and received an MFA from the Iowa Writers' Workshop as well as the Nonfiction Writing Program at Iowa.

Jason Wee is an artist and a writer working between contemporary art, architecture, poetry and photography. He founded and runs Grey Projects, an art space, library and residency in Tiong Bahru. He is an editor for Softblow poetry journal. He was a 2014-2015 Writer-in-Residence at the National University of Singapore, and a 2015-16 Artist-in-Residence at NTU-Center for Contemporary Art. He is the author of My Suit (Math Paper Press, 2011) and his writings are included in several anthologies and books.
