PERFORMANCE: Ghost Story Campfire Night

  • The Substation 45 Armenian Street Singapore, 179936 Singapore (map)

Curated by Post-Museum and part of their "Survey: Space, Sharing, Haunting" series at the Substation, this event will simulate the atmosphere of a campfire night, where participants would get to share or listen to supernatural tales, true or imaginary, and reflect on one’s fascination or hidden fears as may be tied to such tales.

Created and devised by Wong Chee Meng and Zarina Mohd, the event will be interspersed with sound installations of ghost stories of the yesteryears in random languages. Participants may also simply sit around and share food and drinks, or imagine a game of treasure hunt discovering fragments of literary texts, all for a cool night of experiencing a lost art of storytelling.
