Many professional development workshops teach aspiring writers how to write stories. Far fewer equip teachers with practical methods to teach narrative writing effectively in the classroom.

This one day workshop is designed for language teachers who want to strengthen their approach to teaching narrative writing. Led by award-winning writer Felix Cheong, participants explore key building blocks of effective composition teaching, from generating ideas to shaping plot and crafting vivid description, and leave with a ready-to-use narrative writing lesson plan.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Felix Cheong is an award-winning Singapore writer whose 32 books span poetry, fiction, children's books and graphic novels. Holder of a master's in Creative Writing, he has taught creative writing workshops across schools and institutions and has extensive experience working with educators to translate storytelling craft into practical classroom strategies.
