TALK: "I'm In Love With Momoks: Romancing The Monstrous Feminine" (ACWP & Difference Engine)

  • Gallery II (Level 2) at The Arts House 1 Old Parliament Ln, Former Parliament House and Annex Building Singapore 179429 Singapore (map)

It’s always scary to fall in love, but falling in love with a monster, ghost or ghoul? Terrifying.

From witch hunts to femme fatales, writers Marjorie Liu, Wen-yi Lee and Meihan Boey share their favourite stories and examine how horror and speculative fiction can celebrate, vilify and subvert the best and worst of the female experience.

This programme is co-presented by Asia Creative Writing Programme and Difference Engine.

This programme is free with registration.
