Join us in this light-hearted dialogue between a poet and his publisher, Marc Nair and Ng Kah Gay of Ethos Books, about encounters with the unexpected. Find out how travel informs Marc’s poetry and photography and how he communicates the foreignness and familiarity of lands faraway.
Marc Nair is a poet and photographer. He is a recipient of the 2016 Young Artist Award. He has performed spoken word for fifteen years and has represented Singapore in international poetry slam competitions. Marc has published six solo volumes of poetry and has released another four books in collaboration with visual artists, photographers and graphic artists. His latest collection of poetry is Sightlines. Marc is the co-founder of Mackerel, a culture magazine. His third full-length spoken word album, Sounds Like A Buzz will be launched in March 2022. He is a founding member of PR&TA, an online journal of creative practice.
