TALK: SLP 2018 x National Centre for Writing: Supporting Writers & Translators

  • Singapore Book Council 90 Goodman Road Singapore, 439053 Singapore (map)

The National Centre for Writing (formerly Writers' Centre Norwich) was launched this June as a physical and virtual space for writers, literary translators and those working in the world of literature to meet, learn and collaborate. Join us for this talk by its Associate Programme Director Kate Griffin to find out about UK opportunities for Singaporean writers and translators, and share ideas for collaborating with the new NCW.

Kate Griffin is Associate Programme Director at Writers’ Centre Norwich and a freelance literature consultant. She specialises in international literature and translation, as well as developing projects in Asia, the Middle East and Europe. She was a judge of the Independent Foreign Fiction Prize from 2006 to 2010. Her photography can be found at kategriffin.org.
